Unique goblets are one-of-a-kind, whether they are one-offs or historical pieces of stemware.

Historical pieces classified as Unique may be found in museum collections worldwide. These each have their own significance and historical value.

Among the most famous of historical goblets is the Guggenheim Cup. This piece was the goblet that brought the Venetian glassmakers back to a level of refinement that they had had in times past and brought them into the golden age of stemware, the 15th to 17th centuries.

The term Unique can be used to describe any piece of freehand made stemware as each is different, if only almost imperceptibly. This difference is what makes each piece a work of art.
